The Rodney Seaborn Library (NIDA)


The Rodney Seaborn Library opened on 16 June, 2002 and is located at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). It caters for the information needs of the students, staff and graduates of NIDA.

The library's resources include approximately 32,000 books, 3000 sound recordings (featuring music, plays, dialects and theatre interviews) and over 2000 videos and CD-ROMS. The library also regularly receives over 50 journals.

Considered as one of the best performing arts resources in Australia, the Rodney Seaborn Library collection is particularly strong in the areas of theatre, drama and play scripts.

The library's facilities include reading and study areas, audio and video equipment, photocopying machines and Internet access.
