The Glugs

The name ‘Glugs’ is derived from C.J. Dennis’s, “The Glugs of Gosh.

Since the late 1960’s, members of this group have been meeting regularly for lunch and for other activities to share their love of theatre.

Membership is by invitation and members represent a wide range of theatre creatives, arts journalists, and theatre goers.

The Glugs Award

In 1973 the group established the Glugs Theatrical Awards which are determined on an annual basis in relation to theatre activities in Sydney.
