DIVA DELIGHTS, with Valda Wilson

Enjoy an opportunity to meet and listen to Germany-based, Australian born soprano Valda Wilson over lunch in the Utzon Room. Valda’s effervescent personality and a remarkable singing voice have assisted her in establishing an international reputation for performances ‘full of inner conviction with a voice that soars
effortlessly…flawlessly accurate yet meltingly smooth, to unexpectedly high notes’ and for ‘amazing versatility and virtuosity’. She was chosen by Richard Bonynge as the only featured singer at the Westminster Abbey memorial service for Dame Joan Sutherland with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

She will be accompanied by her accomplished cousin, the distinguished pianist Jonathan Wilson.
